Serie A – series 23 round-up

Our midweek Serie A predictions, like many of the games, didn’t go according to script. However we will take the rough with the smooth and aim to rectify the situation at the weekend.

Napoli were beaten 2-0 at Chievo, Roma and Udinese were held to 1-1 draws at home by Brescia and Bologna respectively, while AC Milan and Lazio played out a 0-0 draw. Juventus were defeated for the second time in three days, this time in Palermo.

Sampdoria lost at home to Cagliari as their fans protested due to the recent sale of both Cassano and Pazzini. The stage is now set for Inter to move up to third in the table if they can avoid another surprise result and overcome Bari tomorrow.

See you back here on Friday for this weekend’s match previews and tips!
